Skocznia narciarska Orlinek Karpacz

     Historia Skoczni narciarskiej Orlinek w Karpaczu sięga roku 1912. W okolicy obecnego hotelu Orlinek, powstała pierwsza drewniana skocznia narciarska, gdzie w 1914 r. zanotowano rekordowy skok na odległość 38,5 m. W 1932 roku obiekt przeszedł modernizację, osiągając punkt krytyczny na poziomie 45 m.

 

     Po II wojnie światowej z powodu złego stanu technicznego skocznia została rozebrana. W 1946 roku rozpoczęto budowę nowej drewnianej skoczni pod kierunkiem Stanisława Marusarza, bez dokumentacji technicznej. W latach 70. drewniana konstrukcja nie wytrzymała karkonoskich wiatrów, co skłoniło do decyzji o budowie nowej, stalowej konstrukcji. W 1979 roku powstała nowa skocznia im. Stanisława Marusarza.

 

     W 2000 roku skocznia Orlinek została ponownie przebudowana przed Mistrzostwami Świata Juniorów. Posiada homologację FIS. Rekord skoczni, 94,5 m, należy do Adama Małysza, ustanowiony podczas Mistrzostw Polski Seniorów w Skokach Narciarskich w 2004 roku. Obecnie skocznia pełni rolę punktu widokowego.
